Vision is an android character appearing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
He was created by Ultron in Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015) to serve as his ultimate body. However, through the influence of the Mind Stone and the combined efforts of the Avengers, Vision gained sentience and sided with them against Ultron.
Vision is a powerful being, possessing superhuman strength, speed, and durability. He can manipulate his density, allowing him to become intangible or incredibly dense. He also has the ability to fire energy beams from the Mind Stone embedded in his forehead.
He developed a romantic relationship with Wanda Maximoff. Vision was ultimately killed by Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War (2018) to obtain the Mind Stone.
A rebuilt version of Vision without his original memories appeared in the TV show WandaVision.
